The Oklahoma City campus meets at Village Bible Church, 10600 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73120 (Fall 2026). The Tulsa/Sapulpa campus meets at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 702 S Adams St, Sapulpa. Cimarron School of Living Education is not affiliated with these churches other than location.
Cimarron uses the Alveary curriculum from the Charlotte Mason Institute.
Each Cimarron day, you drop off your students. During the remaining three weekdays, parents are responsible for instruction at home. See the At Home Learning Plan for more detail.
Cimarron offers grades preschool through 12th grade at our Oklahoma City campus. Our Sapulpa campus serves grades preschool through 8th grade, with plans to add additional grades each year.
Students must be 4 years old by August 1st for entry into our preschool program and 5 years old by August 1st for entry into our kindergarten program.
Most classes are limited to 12-14 students, depending on grade level. Low class sizes let teachers differentiate learning and meet students at their level.
Cimarron provides all books and supplies for each student. Parents only need to send a lunchbox and water bottle for their child.
Students in PK-8th grade will not receive homework. High school students will have some homework for some of their subjects.
Cimarron does not grade PK-8th grade students in a traditional sense. Because of our small teacher-to-student ratio, teachers know each child well and can monitor progress and set expectations that are appropriate for each student. At the end of each term, teachers administer comprehensive exams to evaluate students’ broad understanding. These exams may be oral or written, depending on the needs of the students and the curricular content. Teachers review the exams and share them with parents.
High school students receive grades for their subjects.
Cimarron does not wish to inhibit a child’s comfort, or cause undue financial strain upon the clothing budget. We require that clothing and outerwear be appropriate for the season and weather. We also ask that clothing remains modest, respectful, and in alignment with our school dress code. Students are provided a school t-shirt before the Fall semester begins.
Each child will need to bring a packed lunch.
