A living education

Education

Cimarron School of Living Education follows Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education. Teachers spread a wide feast of living books, nature study, the arts, and short lessons. The aim is a student who cares about many kinds of knowledge, not a student who only stores facts for a test.

On campus days, students work through Alveary, a curriculum and teacher training program published by the Charlotte Mason Institute. Parents lead the remaining days at home. Cimarron gives a guided list of suggested subjects for those days and is glad to talk families through the rhythm.

Oklahoma City offers preschool through 12th grade. Tulsa/Sapulpa offers preschool through 8th grade, with plans to add grades as enrollment grows. High school credits and a 2-day or 5-day option are available at the Oklahoma City campus.
