Area book study / discussion groups

North OKC Charlotte Mason Group. An OKC area Charlotte Mason Discussion Group meets the third Tuesday of each month (except December). Our purpose is to read, discuss, and take practical action to apply what we learn in the Original Home Schooling Series by Charlotte Mason. Questions related to Miss Mason’s philosophy and methods are encouraged. Meetings are at 6:45-9:00 p.m., at the home of Susan Chrisman. If you would like to attend, please email Susan at susan@susanchrisman.com for the address.

For those interested, we also enjoy a Moms’ Book Club that meets at 5:00 p.m., prior to the Charlotte Mason Discussion Group meeting. Bring a sack supper, and sit with us around the table discussing books we choose as a group to read together. Recent books have been The Curate’s Awakening by George MacDonald and Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome. For more information, contact Susan.

Stillwater Charlotte Mason Support. Monthly meetings where we discuss different CM ideas or teaching methods and how to implement them in our homeschooling. We meet at 8pm on the 4th Monday of each month at a home of one of the group members. Sometimes we discuss a book we’ve read related to Charlotte Mason or we discuss a subject we teach or hope to teach during our homeschooling. https://www.stillwatercharlottemason.com/
